Rye Whiskey tends to be drier and spicier than Bourbon. Three Chord Rye is no exception. Aged Ryes from Kentucky and Indiana are used to create a refined blend. The 3-year-old Rye contributes wood and spices, while the younger Rye gives a nice, grassy character. They complement each other perfectly!

95% Rye and 4% malted barley. Clear and rich, with a chestnut color. Hints of black cherry and rye on the nose. This Rye is chewy and complex with bold citrus peel, black pepper and mild clove with hints of black cherry. Three Chord finishes with a silky mouth feel and a mild pleasing hug.

I would recommend this tequila, it has a good premium taste.
I really wanted to like this one as it has been on my bucket list. Was a bit disappointed in its initial harshness but that’s expected with a higher abv. Despite that it has a delicious butterscotch flavor, great nose, and comes in a beautiful decanter. If I could do it again, I would buy Tears of La Llorona and save a few dollars and get more for the money.
