Orders will be shipped either ground using UPS or GLS. Cannot be combined with other discounts or coupons. Shipping included applies only to wine and spirits orders and does not apply to beer. Mission reserves the right to cancel or adjust your order. Not valid for shipping outside of California.

 

SHIPPING POLICY

 

Legal Requirements. Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult, which means a person twenty-one (21) years of age or older who is not intoxicated. All purchases are not for resale, and is for personal consumption only, unless Your business has an account with Us and is authorized for resale.

 

Shipping Laws. You are responsible for abiding by all State and local laws, rules, and regulations of Your State pertaining to the receipt of alcoholic beverages from out of state.  You additionally represent You have obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, are working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, and are legally entitled to take possession of the alcoholic beverages. You further represent You are legally entitled to take possession of the quantities ordered, and that You and/or the person accepting delivery of the alcoholic beverages are at least 21 years of age. By making a purchase on Our Site, You are authorizing Us to appoint a Carrier and arrange for transportation on Your behalf for the delivery of alcoholic beverages to You. 


By making use of the Services, You are representing You are acting in accordance with your local and State laws regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of alcoholic beverages. Accordingly, We make no representations or warranties concerning the legal requirements of shipping alcoholic beverages to Your State; our Site merely provides a list of those States where Carriers have indicated their willingness to deliver alcohol. As such, You understand and acknowledge You are accountable and liable for compliance with all laws concerning such shipments to Your State, and You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its agents, officers, directors, shareholders, and employees, from any and all claims, demands, damages, liability whatsoever, whether in tort, contract, or otherwise, arising out of the shipment of alcoholic beverages to Your State, including any and all claims that such shipment may violate any federal, state, or local regulation pertaining to the sale and shipment of alcoholic beverages.


Purchase Costs & Procedure
. The cost for all products available through the Services includes the price listed for said product plus applicable tax and shipping costs for which You are responsible. Prices are subject to change without notice. Item photos may not reflect the actual bottle being shipped. We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or terminate accounts at Our discretion.


By entering Your address, financial, and other personal information in connection with any purchase, You agree to the provisions included within the integration with third party services & policies of these Terms & Conditions. Further, if You choose to create an account, You may opt, but are not required, to have Your address, financial, and personal information stored for future purchases.



Shipping Costs. Shipping costs are based on the cost of shipping and the materials used to pack the shipment. You acknowledge and agree that You responsible for all shipping costs and any applicable surcharges. To find the current shipping rate, simply add a product to Your shopping cart, click on checkout, fill in the ship to state on the checkout page and Our shipping calculator will show the available services and rates to that state.

 

Carriers. We utilize various carriers, including but not limited to UPS, GLS, FedEx, and WeShip Express (collectively, the “Carrier”).

 

For certain orders, Company will arrange shipping on Your behalf via Carrier to an address furnished by You that will not subject the Company to any liability. You assume full responsibility for compliance with local and state laws regarding the transportation and delivery of alcoholic beverages.

 

By placing an order via the Sites, you authorize the Company to engage Carrier to deliver Your order, but the Company not responsible for the actions of the Carrier, including delays, loss, or damage. It is the receiver’s responsibility to ensure compliance with applicable laws and to provide a valid identification at the time of delivery.

 

Delivery Terms. Shipping orders may take up to two (2) to three (3) business days to process pending availability of certain products. Some items may have delays due to products being transferred to the shipping department to prepare Your package.

 

Orders will be processed and shipped out during business days, Monday - Friday.

After placing an order, You will receive a confirmation email stating that your order has been received. This does not confirm that Your order will be fulfilled, as all orders are subject to the pending availability of a product. Once an order has been fulfilled, You will receive a tracking number to follow the progress of Your shipment.

 

Please ensure that Your address and zip code are correct and complete (unit #, floor # etc.) when placing an order. Carriers may charge $10.00 for incorrect or incomplete information. If the recipient re-routes the shipment, the carrier will adjust the shipping rate and charge an additional $10.00 fee for such adjustments.


Title.
 The regulatory environment for shipping alcohol to consumers nationwide is an extremely complex and ever changing landscape. The rules around where We can and can't ship are changing constantly along with the shipping rates. The list of states in Our drop down menu at checkout are not representative of where We can legally ship.


Please submit Your order and Our processing team will check it for compliance. If there are any issues with Your Order, We will contact You.


Accordingly, You will be the legal owner of the goods when Your order is approved by Your financial intuition or credit card company. Title to all alcoholic beverages purchased on the Site passes to You in the State of California when the goods are picked up by the Carrier.


Taxes.
 You will be charged sales tax, if any, as may be assessed by Your State for the sale of alcoholic beverages; otherwise, California sales tax will be assessed on the sale as California charges sales tax for anything sold in this State. You will also be responsible for any local taxes imposed by Your State, if any. 


Fulfillment
. You may select the method of fulfillment, including but not limited to delivery or ins tore pick up. Pick up of all products is available during regular business hours and You are encouraged to confirm with the pick-up location as selected during the ordering process. In the event of a pickup or storage request, all products will be stored on Your behalf at Our facility prior to pick up or fulfillment as further described below.


Storage.
 As applicable and requested, We will provide storage of Your order pending transfer to the third-party for fulfillment. Our storage fees are $5.00 per each thirty (30) day period, and the first month’s fees are included in Your purchase price. Please visit the FAQ portion of the Site regarding storage.


Hold Until Safe to Ship, Weather Damage, and Tainted Corks. 
Some products such as wine may be weather sensitive. We reserve the right and may delay shipping at its discretion to prevent heat damage or freezing, especially during the months of July through September. We are not responsible for damaged wines due to ground service once it leaves the warehouse. We will hold purchased wines at no additional charge until weather conditions are suitable for shipping. Should You need Your wine by a specific date, please reach out to Us at 626-794-7026 or info@missionliquor.com.

 

If You receive a wine with cork taint (a wine fault caused by Trichloroanisole contamination), and it is within thirty (30) days of the purchase date, please contact Us. We do not guarantee wines after seven (7) years of vintage date. Please note, shipping charges are not refundable.

 

Damaged in Transit. Should any products be damaged during shipping, please contact Us at 626-794-7026 or info@missionliquor.com so We may review the concerns and in Our sole discretion, We may pursue a claim with the Carrier. Please note that damaged products must be returned to Us in order to receive a refund.

 

Other Purchase Concerns. All damaged or missing shipments must be reported via email to info@missionliquor.com within forty-eight (48) hours of package delivery. For concerns with any purchase, please email info@missionliquor.com with photographs and a brief description of Your concern. Company maintains full discretion regarding the resolution of such concerns and does not guarantee any refund.
