Absolutely stunning blanco tequila. Clean, natural, and clearly additive-free, with a pure agave profile that works just as beautifully neat as it does in a simple lime margarita. I’m probably on my 10th bottle in 2 years, so that says a lot. What I love most is how smooth and balanced it feels, with a mellow, warm, even-keeled buzz that makes it incredibly easy to come back to.
I have been enjoying the small sized Mission Marguerita for a few months, so was thrilled to see it available in a larger size. But what a disappointment! The drink had an off-smell and the taste was not nearly as good as the smaller version. I don't know what they did to alter the recipe, but it's not good at all and I won't be buying it again.
This is a very smooth and enjoyable whiskey. A really nice change and less bite, from the humdrum Jack and Wild Turkey, but to each their own. John Rich is a great patriot, and he's made an excellent whiskey worth trying. Cheers!
If you like Deanston 12yr you will probably like this. Sipped neat, flavor is more concentrated, nutty, butter,y dried fruity (apricot?) sweet tang, very smooth, with a higher ABV (53.2%) subtle afterburn
