The 2022 OPR is predominately Zin blended with Petite Sirah and Carignane resulting in very fruity yet complex and full-bodied Rhone- like style wine. The wine has dark red color with intense black cherry aromas, blueberries, and cherry cola as an immediate impression. With aeration nuances of ripe plums, vanilla and cocoa are showing with a dose of toasted oak and dark licorice. On the mouth the wine is fresh and juicy with youthful brightness, finishing long and fruity. This is a wine that will pair well with variety of foods, but it is also very enjoyable on its own.
So there is nothing on the bottle that tells you Wendy’s in the cocktail. It tastes like tajin and it does not taste anything like a traditional cosmo.
The nose opens with sweet agave, fresh cherries, and dried red berries inviting and vibrant. On the palate, it leads with pure agave sweetness, followed by layers of plum, dried cherry, black pepper, and a subtle hint of oak and vanilla. A beautifully balanced and refined expression that showcases the craftsmanship behind it.
Beautiful nose of ripe banana, mango, and sweet agave, with bright citrus and tropical fruit layers throughout. The palate mirrors the aroma perfectly — rich, balanced, and vibrant. Absolutely delicious tequila from NOM 1414, and easily one of their best releases yet.
