Through cask selection using a combination of sherry seasoned American oak and ex-bourbon casks, the Macallan team has drawn forward a nuanced coconut character that is seldom found in the distillery's iconic portfolio. The packaging itself is crafted from discarded coconut fibers, a nice touch if you ask us and a fitting final statement from a collection whose mission was rooted in inspiration from the natural world.
Bottled at 46.3% ABV, it opens up with fresh coconut, citrus, and tropical fruits layered with vanilla and sweet oak. The palate is exciting and perfect for those warm summer nights on the patio with coconut milk and zesty lime with a touch of bright and floral sweetness.
