The Battle of White Plains expression was matured in 15 gallon ex-Bourbon casks, also no longer purchased by Tenmile Distillery because today 100% of the spirit is maturing in the full size barrels. A very limited commodity of these casks were emptied to fill two large Sherry Butts, resulting in the award-winning “Double Matured” which got a 95 and Double Gold in San Francisco. Don’t miss this whisky before it’s gone. It’s loaded with caramel, vanilla, and shortbread with hints of toasted hazelnuts. It’s also bottled at 46% ABV.

Put this in a blind against Old Forester 1924. The King of Kentucky lost by a significant margin.. The KOK was mediocre at best. Ethanol with a little flavor.
Mission has great ‘exclusive’ selections and this Cazcanes is truly on point.
