Smoke Wagon's first bourbon and where vintage blending began. Rye ages faster than corn, and the only way to achieve the beautiful fruit forward complexity of this expression is by combining multiple vintages. The younger vintages bring the fruit, big rye spice, and buries the harsh oak. The older vintages create a creamy mouthfeel as well as adding rich caramel and deep sweet notes. The finish is bold enough and at 100 proof, there's enough flavor to ensure it'll shine through any cocktail.

The best bourbon at this price (and maybe higher)

I read and watched a lot of great reviews online for Smoke Wagon. Unlike some other bourbons out there, Smoke Wagon truly lives up to the hype. I shared some with a co-worker/whiskey fan in town from Louisville. He could get over how awesome the Smoke Wagon is, nor that it's from Vegas. I think he said it best by summing it up as the best of bourbon and scotch in one smooth sipping dram. I hope Mission gets some of the unfiltered Smoke Wagon in next!
