Nose: Baked apples and lemon zest with a little charred Oak, ground grey pepper, and cherry Wax Lips around the edges.
Palate: Really pops with a cracked black pepper opening. Notes of heather honey, shortbread cookies, white peaches, and ripe apricots.
Finish: The fruit lingers for a long time balanced by the cracked black peppercorns.

Put this in a blind against Old Forester 1924. The King of Kentucky lost by a significant margin.. The KOK was mediocre at best. Ethanol with a little flavor.
Mission has great ‘exclusive’ selections and this Cazcanes is truly on point.
