If you need a pungent, fruity rum with notes of sherry (raisins, vanilla, caramel), this is the best of the ones I've tried, including Ron Zacapa. I prefer it to Diplomatico Reserva, too, which has a similar flavor profile. Santa Teresa is not as sweet as some of the other Spanish heritage rums in its category.
