Was actually surprised by this one... was not expecting it to be as good as it was. Don't let the 109.3 proof put you off as it does not express that hot. Definitely on the sweeter end of the bourbon spectrum with notes of brown sugar, caramel and maple (like others have mentioned). Definitely worth a go!
Enjoyable bourbon with basic bourbon profile, vanilla, caramel slight ethanol. On the nose picked up maple candies.
The alcohol was pronounced up front, but after a few tastes it settled down and was easy to drink. Color was a little pale and lacked a little of the maple flavor I like in bourbon.
Big hit with the birthday boy (age 51).
