Expertly handmade, Patrón Cristalino is the finest cristalino because it has the finest starting point, Patrón Añejo. Using the traditional method, oven baked 100% Blue Weber agave is crushed with a volcanic tahona stone, releasing the sweet agave juices and fibers, which are then distilled twice and aged in four types of oak barrels for at least 12 months. The aged tequila is filtered through American oak charcoal, resulting in a crystal-clear liquid that is full of taste. Finally, the liquid is rested in oak tanks for 30 days to produce the smoothest and sweetest finish.
Crystal-clear with shimmering clarity, look for sweet and delicate aromas of sweet caramel, vanilla and light oak to take center stage before softening to allow the cooked 100% blue agave to shine through with notes of spices and light dried fruits. Smooth and sweet on the palate with butter scotch and vanilla fading slowly to reveal light cooked agave, oak and spice notes. Sweet and velvety on the finish.
