One of the store employees suggested this wine to me and I'm so glad he did, I was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful it was.
Old Forester Kentucky Bourbon 86 Proof 1.75L
$35.99
SKU: WH-3005
- WHY: Old Forester is one of the most dependable and value-oriented Bourbons on the market today with a sweetly-spiced profile and mellow character that make it instantly accessible to almost any drinker.
- HOW: Brown Forman’s Shively distillery produces a mashbill recipe of 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley, using a #4 char on all its air-seasoned barrels.
- WHAT: The Old Forester brand dates back to 1870 when the Brown brothers named the label after a local doctor who prescribed the whiskey to his patients. Old Forester was the first Bourbon to be sold only in bottles, rather than barrels, giving customers the confidence that nothing had been added to the whiskey in transit.
