A lot of flavor but well balanced. Not too much smoke. A little funky on the nose and rounded mouth feel but finishes clean and a touch sweet. A friend and I cracked this bottle and it went down easy. Half the bottle was gone at the end of the night. Did not expect to do that!
Put this in a blind against Old Forester 1924. The King of Kentucky lost by a significant margin.. The KOK was mediocre at best. Ethanol with a little flavor.
Mission has great ‘exclusive’ selections and this Cazcanes is truly on point.
