I have had this, the anejo, and the reposado from Claze Azul. Those are the best tequilas I have -ever- tasted. This is 3rd on the list. Really, really good. If I hadn't had the others then this would be the top choice. It smells stronger than it tastes. On the nose I thought it was going to be a bad decision, but that I would be making some margaritas. After tasting I found the flavor is truly worth a sipping label. No mixing with this one. Rich, sweet, some vanilla, a grassiness, and maybe a hint of caramel. You'll find much more caramel and butterscotch in the anejo and the Clase Azul. But you are also spending $30 to $50 more for that taste. I like it. I'm pretty sure you will too.
