Lagavulin 16 Year Old is one of Islay's most celebrated single malts — a full-bodied, intensely peated expression distilled on the rugged southern coast of Islay and aged 16 years in oak casks. The nose is deeply smoky with iodine, seaweed, and a rich underlying sweetness. On the palate, dry peat smoke dominates with a gentle sweetness, sea salt, and touches of wood, finishing long and elegant with lingering peat and brine. Best enjoyed neat or with a small splash of water.

I ordered $454. worth of liquor yesterday. On 7/23 I was welcomed for my previous order and given code 200FFM1 to use on my next order. That was yesterday. When I tried to enter this code I was told that it was invalid. If you are not going to honor your discounts why bother offering them?

Lagavulin 16

I haven't had Lagavulin 16 for awhile - smoother than I remember it, very well balanced, if a little tamer than expected. I suspect an evolving palate is the culprit. Service from Mission was great.
