It takes flight on the palate, with black pepper and toasted oak blending with chocolate-covered raisins and candied walnuts. The whiskey holds its proof well and water brings out a gentler pepperiness and more vanilla. The long finish is all chocolate and toasted oak.

Put this in a blind against Old Forester 1924. The King of Kentucky lost by a significant margin.. The KOK was mediocre at best. Ethanol with a little flavor.
Mission has great ‘exclusive’ selections and this Cazcanes is truly on point.
