Just like you. I didn’t want to spend 80-100 dollars on a bottle without seeing a few reviews. It’s worth a try for sure. Pleasant like hibiki and smooth like blue label. I skipped the lower end kavalan but now that might be my next bottle. If you like Japanese whisky this is a very nice addition from Taiwan.
One of the store employees suggested this wine to me and I'm so glad he did, I was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful it was.
Now do it with scotch. Market has changed nerds. Adjust your bs prices accordingly.
