After 3 Northern California retailers went out of business or stopped carrying this phenomenonal product, I stumbled across it on the Mission Wines web site. Now if I can only come up with an innovative way to get it shipped from LA to SF that doesn’t almost double my purchase price.
The Bardouin Pastis seems to have almost nothing in common with the basic Pernod-Ricard industrial pastis. Very floral, lots of individual component tastes in addition to the main anis flavor. Once you try this you will never drink a different pastis!
