WHAT: Originally founded in 1824, Glenlivet was purchased by Pernod-Ricard from Seagram’s in 2001, as part of a deal for Chivas Brothers and all of the distilleries associated with the blended whisky. It sits in the Speyside region of Scotland and is currently the country’s largest single malt distillery.
