The 2022 growing season began with a dry and warm spring, leading to an early bud break, followed by cooler-than-usual fruit and maintained the grapes natural acidity. A brief late summer heatwave concentrated flavors, while cooler nights helped preserve freshness and structure. The harvest was earlier than usual, starting in late August and early September. The healthy harvest resulted in high-quality and optimal ripeness.
