The 2022 Warrior is bold and unwavering, offering a complex aromatic profile, with layers of white pepper, raspberry jam, and dried strawberry, balanced by earthen hints of clay pot and tobacco leaf. Subtle accents of apricot, seasoned sweet oak, and a cool, mineral note reminiscent of a limestone cave, bring depth and nuance. On the palate, the wine shows vibrant acidity that accentuates the fruit, while fine-grained tannins enrich the wine’s texture. The mid-palate has a wonderfully subtle grippiness that leads into a muscular finish that is balanced, and persistent.
