DuMOL's 2023 Ryan Pinot Noir is a throwback to the early days of the winery — a classic Russian River Valley expression centered on old vines at Dutton-Widdoes Vineyard, tracing a lineage back to DuMOL's first Ryan vintage in 2002. Wild berry sweetness, truffle-y complexity, satiny texture, and supple tannins define the style, with aromas and flavors of cranberry, rhubarb, dark wild berries, kirsch, violet, anise, and sweet mint. Broad and enveloping on the palate with a rising finish of sweet truffle and black tea, this is a wine that drinks beautifully on release but has the complexity and buried potential to age through 2035.
