Dewar's 15 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky 750ml

$35.99

SKU: WH-4251

DEWAR'S 15 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky, created by Dewar's master blender Stephanie Macleod, has been matured in sherry and bourbon casks and, once blended, put back into specially selected oak casks to marry for greater smoothness and a longer, lingering finish. The blend features tasting notes of honey, golden toffee, warm and complex, along with rich succulent exotic fruits with hints of coconut and vanilla aromas including citrus and green apple notes and lest we forget the delicate and exquisitely scented floral aromas with a smooth, well-round and long and warming finish.

Tasting Notes:

A sweet-style whisky, with a floral focus, and a vibrant golden honey and toffee flavor. Finished in selected oak casks.

About the Brand:

Founded in 1846 by John Dewar, DEWAR'S has grown from a small wine and spirits merchant shop in Scotland, to one of the largest Scotch whisky brands in the world. Best known for its iconic DEWAR'S White Label, it has expanded its family to create a portfolio of premium and super premium whiskies including DEWAR'S 12 Year Old, DEWAR'S 15 Year Old, DEWAR'S 18 Year Old, the exclusive DEWAR'S Signature and most recently DEWAR'S Scratched Cask. These whiskies are crafted using the DEWAR'S oak marrying ageing process. Pioneered by DEWAR'S in 1899, it involves returning the hand-crafted blend to vintage oak casks for further maturation. The result is a smoother taste with a long, lingering finish; a taste that wins medals and applause, making DEWAR'S the world's most awarded blended Scotch.

The Master Blender does fantastic with the blend that is totally hers. Smooth, solid body and a finish that lingers nicely but not sticky (doesn't need a quick palate chaser)
