The Vic family are fifth generation wine growers and are at the helm of a dynamic property with roots dating back to the 12th century. Located along the Mediterranean coast, the heart of the property is an old Chateau built from the volcanic black rock that is the bedrock of the Comtesse vineyards. With vines between 20-40 years old, there’s nothing fussy about what Comtesse is doing with their classically-tailored wines. There’s just a TON of bang for the buck.

Made with 100% estate fruit, with zero pesticides or herbicides, the Comtesse Viognier completely avoids any of the perfumy or lavender notes you may have tasted in other expressions. This one is chalk full of peaches, pears, and melon, with a refreshing level of acidity that makes it an incredible food wine as well as a cocktail sipper.
