One of the store employees suggested this wine to me and I'm so glad he did, I was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful it was.

The 2026 release markes a new chapter — no longer part of the Nuestros Recuerdos series, this edition stands on its own as a singular creation. Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco built the blend around two añejos, both aged over 30 months. The first is finished in Champagne wine casks where the lees left behind impart warm, buttery notes of toasted walnut and fresh bread. The second aged in American whiskey casks adds bold depth and toasted character to round the blend out.
On the nose, pear compote, ripe apple, honey, and sourdough bread with toasted oak underneath. The palate is silky and rounded with agave nectar, cacao nibs, and toasted walnut, finishing long and warm with a touch of spice.
The decanter is hand-painted by Clase Azul artisans with a glaze that shifts from deep blue to vibrant magenta, 24-karat gold brushstrokes, and a detailed floral composition honoring the tradition of Día de Muertos.
