  • WHY: Pellehaut "Selection" edition was originally designed and intended strictly for bartenders as a younger, higher-proof (45%) Armagnac that would showcase the fruit and punch of a quality brandy in classic cocktails like a Sidecar or Brandy Old Fashioned. Due to COVID-19 closing all bars and restaurants in the state, the bottles were made available to retailers, and we couldn't be more excited to offer them to our customers.
  • HOW: Made from  100% Folle Blanche grown on sandy parts of the Pellehaut estate, int he central Tenareze region of Armagnac. The wine is fermented at the domaine and distilled once in a traveling column still. The spirit exits the still at 54% alcohol and goes into oak barrels (20% new). The color is light, the texture is thick and the spirit has plenty of vanilla and spice notes.
  • WHAT: Pellehaut is a family-owned and operated wine and spirits producer in the Tenereze region of Armagnac, producing a number of red and white wines and several distillates from Ugni Blanc, Baco, Folle Blanche, and Colombard.
