Superb sweet vermouth

Bold, powerful, redolent with vanilla. According to Joaquin Simo in _Death and Co.: Modern Classic Cocktails_, "only Carpano Antica has the balls to stand up to its [Smith & Cross rum's] intensity." Try it in a Kingston Negroni: 1 ounce Smith & Cross rum, 1 ounce Carpano Antica, 1 ounce Campari, orange twist garnish.
