The reopening of the Islay distillery in the early 2000s was nothing short of a phenomenon — with then-distiller Jim McEwan traveling the world like a rock star, creating legions of superfans in his wake. With the success of The Botanist Gin and a timely acquisition by Rémy Cointreau, Bruichladdich has continued to grow without losing its identity.
Here's something most distilleries won't tell you — where their barley comes from. Bruichladdich is one of the rare few that honors the farms and farmers behind every bottle. The Organic 2011 is made entirely from 100% organic Publican barley sourced from Mid Coul Farm in the north of Scotland, where the Rose family has cultivated the land since 1912 without artificial fertilizers or pesticides. The result is a whisky that genuinely tastes like where it came from — slow distilled and matured entirely on Islay at 50% ABV.
On the nose, crème brûlée, sweet honey, lemon zest, and green apples with delicate floral hints. The palate is thick and oily — vanilla fudge, barley sugar, caramelized pears, and a light ocean-breeze saltiness. The finish is medium-long and smooth with warm baking spices and a lingering golden sweetness.

Bought a bottle of the jalapeño pineapple margarita and it taste like the puke flavored jelly bean from beanboozle the game definitely will be pouring this one out
I was excited to taste these, I purchased x2 Jalapeno Pineapple Margarita flavor, what a disappointment!!! It has the strangest taste I can't even describe it?! It is going straight down the drain and garbage!
Recommended. Good after day one and day two just with the cork popped back in on the counter.
