Imagine a more focused and lively version of Talisker 10 and that’s the Benromach Peat Smoke in nutshell. Soft stone fruits, sweet malted barley, a robust and almost mealy mouthfeel, followed by peat smoke that lands on the sweeter side rather than the phenolic side. It’s more like campfire smoke than an Islay bog, which creates a lovely balance between the vanilla imparted from the ex-Bourbon casks used for maturation.

Very sweet but smooth, doesnt have as much of that Texas Funk you get with Garrisons, still great. Like a desert Bourbon.
