Join our former sales & marketing director David Driscoll for a very special four course Chardonnay and Tequila food pairing at Marino Ristorante in Hollywood on Tuesday, May 26th at 6:30 PM.
David works as a private consultant for Liquid Farm winery in the Sta Rita Hills as well as Fuenteseca Tequila and decided to pair two of his clients with Chef Sal Marino to delve into the nature of single vineyard, site-specific wines and spirits. With the new 2020 vintage of the single agave orchard Fuenteseca Cosecha Blanco Tequila hitting the market this month, David and Sal have put together a four course tasting menu to showcase the beauty of these liquids. Beginning with two single vineyard Chardonnays from Liquid Farm and finishing with two single orchard Tequilas from Fuenteseca, Chef Sal Marino’s imagination will be on full display, as will David’s storytelling in between courses. The Fuenteseca Cosechas from master distiller Enrique Fonseca are considered the benchmark for single site blanco Tequila, and Jeff Nelson’s Liquid Farms single vineyard Chardonnays are the cream of the crop from the Sta Rita Hills, showcasing incredible acidity and minerality.
David wants this to be an intimate experience for all guests, hence this special exploration of terroir is limited to just 12 seats at $125 per person. Marino Ristorante is located at 6001 Melrose Ave.
