Join us for an intimate winemaker dinner featuring one of Santa Barbara County's most celebrated Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producers. Alma Rosa Winery has been a cornerstone of the Sta. Rita Hills appellation since its founding in 2005. We'll be joined by winemaker Samra Morris, who was named one of five nominees for 2025 Winemaker of the Year by Wine Enthusiast. Under her tenure, Alma Rosa's wines have earned 95-plus points from critics across top publications more than 80 times.

Enjoy terroir-driven Pinot Noir and Chardonnay shaped by Pacific Ocean breezes as we return to Chef Claud's kitchen for another one-of-a-kind evening. At $125 per guest, you'll enjoy a welcome reception with sparkling wine and appetizers, followed by five courses paired with some of Alma Rosa's finest expressions.

Since 2015, Bacchus Kitchen has been a local favorite, blending eclectic seasonal menus, live music, and thoughtful wines. Under the visionary leadership of Chef Claud Beltran — a Pasadena native known for his inventive New American cuisine — Bacchus has become one of the city’s best kept secrets.

Samra Morris, Winemaker

Samra Morris is the winemaker at Alma Rosa Winery in Santa Barbara County’s Sta. Rita Hills, where she crafts distinctive, terroir-driven wines that defy expectations. A native of Bosnia, she studied food science and fermentation before moving to California in 2012, where she gained hands-on experience with respected producers including Hestan Vineyards, St. Supéry and Thomas Rivers Brown’s Mending Wall. She joined Alma Rosa in 2019 as assistant winemaker and was promoted to winemaker within a year. Today, Samra focuses on highlighting the estate’s El Jabali vineyard through elegant expressions of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Rhône varietie
