St. George Single Malt Baller 750ml

Baller is a single malt release from St. George Spirits with a crisp, dry, malty flavor profile. Distiller Lance Winters describes Baller as “a California take on the Japanese spin on Scotch whisky. It is made with 100% American barley. The whisky is crisp and dry, with a touch of malt sweetness. The smoky finish lingers and builds with each sip.

Silky, smoky, and smooth

Silky, smoky, smooth with a little bit of sweetness. Excellent Single Malt from Northern California's St. George Distillery.

You will love it or hate it

This absolutely is the MOST unique whiskey I have ever tasted, and it is a love it or hate it thing. I personally loved this one, but it is not for everyone. It's the Durian Fruit of the Whiskey world. It has an amazing funk to it, that really made me taste cheese, and not the mozzarella kind, the blue variety. It's so odd, and so completely different than anything else out there today, that you will either take a sip, and swish it around in your mouth to try and figure out all the flavors that are going on, and still have no idea how to explain what's happening on your taste buds, or you will spit it out, and curse the person who convinced you to sip it, and there's no in between at all. You honestly can't tell someone what it's like, because there is no description on earth for the funk and flavor that happens, that has been bestowed upon us by the mad scientists at St George distillery. You also will either put this in your collection, and touch it once every 3 months, because you want something different, or throw the bottle out, and hate the fact that you paid anything for it. I love it for just this reason, as I would rather have experienced this, than never had tried it before. I look at it less like a drink, and more like an experience I can now claim to have conquered. If you hate it, don't say I didn't warn you, but if you love it, write a review to tell everyone your personal experience with it. Mine's blue cheese.
