This environment slows the aging process, allowing the whiskey to develop greater depth, richness, and complexity.
The aroma opens with dark brown sugar, caramelized oak, and baked apple. On the palate, robust flavors of creamy fudge, toasted almond, and ripe dark cherry unfold with balance and intensity. The finish is viscous and lingering, layered with butterscotch, orange zest, and gentle baking spice. Bottled at 112.9 proof, it showcases the hallmark smoothness of Maker’s Mark with added depth from extended cellar aging.
