2020 Chateau Siran Margaux blends rich and opulent Merlot, precise Cabernet Sauvignon, perfectly ripe Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc creating a wine filled with vibrant fruit and freshness, velvety tannin and plushness.
Enticing aromas of blackberry, cassis, and ripe dark plum. Sophisticated complexity of lavender, violets, hints of sage and wet earth, mocha, dark chocolate, cedar, pencil lead and tobacco with a slight smoky incense.
Medium to full bodied on the palate. Tannins are present, refined and soft, maintaining a gentle grip and lingering elegance. Blackberry, black cherry, cassis up front while raspberry and red cherry with hints of black tea, cedar and wild sage find their way to the mid-palate and lengthy finish. Acidity and minerality bring balance and freshness to this beautiful Bordeaux.
