My first taste of a true high altitude mountain mezcal… and it did not disappoint. Lots of fresh fruit, honey and herbal aromas on the nose with a touch of oak smokiness. More fruit on the palate… Yes, I said fruit… in a Mezcal… Simply amazing... Melon, pineapple, grapefruit and mandarin orange with cocoa, mint, anise and just enough of that classic Mezcal smoke. Finish it all up with rich caramel and more citrus. A very unique Mezcal. Highly recommend.
