I reserve five stars for some really excellent old Scotches, I'm not a giant Macallan guy, but enjoy what they've been doing woth these numbered editions. This one is so different from #4 (and #3 as I recall - it's long gone), my son enjoys it more than I do, but there's an eight year olds' palate for you (joke), he is a fan of Sour Beers and 'fruitier' flavours, so perhaps that's why, because the flavour is quite atypical for what I've come to expect from these guys. Worth a try in my view
