Was looking for some Blanton’s, was not available. Someone recommended me to try this. I am so glad I did. It is as good or better than Blanton’s. Not a fancy bottle, but don’t be fooled. The contents are exceptional. Is definitely top shelf. Will not stay at this low price long!
Great fast service along with classy great Bourbon. Thanks
This bottle has a fantastic nose. There's a sweet component to it, with brown sugar and maple that immediately tells you there's a body to the flavor. The initial pallet adds a spicy note, and you get nuts and cloves that come forward, but not too much. It's complex, with wood on the pallet and finishes smoothly as is customary with a 10 year aged bourbon. The clover is a perfect name for this one, as there's definitely the spice to justify it. With it also being a single barrel, there is some potential variation from bottle to bottle, which makes this bottle exciting, as I'm going to be buying a second bottle, to see what other qualities come out from a different barrel and bottling! Definitely well worth the price tag on this one, as it drinks more as a higher end bottle than what it's being listed for now. Take advantage, as it shouldn't be this inexpensive.
One of the best kept secrets in the bourbon/whiskey world.
