The Legendary Dark Silkie Irish Whiskey is a smoky blend of double distilled single malts and triple distilled peated single malts with soft grain whiskey, created to savor in the later watches of the night. 

An ode to the Donegal whiskeys of days gone by, Dark Silkie is a rich smoky blend loaded with character. Non chill-filtered and bottled at 46%, the whiskey is incredibly smooth with a stunning natural sweetness. Continuing to draw inspiration from the rick folktales of the Silkie Seals, often told by the glow of a turf fire, Dark Silkie has at its core triple distilled peated single malt which is matured in sherry. This single malt is peated to 55ppm which after triple distillation becomes 22ppm giving a rich sweet smoky flavor.

A pleasant surprise!

Was trying to find something under 70 dollars that punched above its weight and after much researching, this was what came up. I must say that this did not disappoint at all. For the price, it’s an incredible dram. Definitely worth the price of admission!
