Ratu [rah-tu] is the name given to Fiji’s mighty warrior chiefs.
The Fijian islands are renowned for their pure water, nourishing the sugar cane growing in rich volcanic soil. The hand-cut sugar cane is distilled into rum then filtered through coconut shell carbon to capture the taste of Fiji.
Highly awarded internationally and brought to you by RUM Co. of Fiji, our RATU Fijian Dark Rum is aged for 5 years in charred oak barrels and has a savory, smoked oak aroma which gives way to the rich sweetness of caramel, vanilla and tea leaves. Most recently, this rum received a Gold medal at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
