Frapin Cognac Extra 50Yrs 750ml
A blend taken from the ancient family reserve, exclusively harvested, distilled and aged in barrels kept by Pierre Frapin and his descendants. Mahogany color with warm copper highlights. Very smooth, complex, evolving aromas of old port mixed with the scent of wooden cigar boxes typical of old Grande Champagne cognacs, which appears after a very long ageing. Concentrated candied fruit aromas (apricots). The palate is supple, smooth, rich and luxurious, with an exceptionally long finish in which all the flavors combine in a subtle and complex harmony. It includes the notes of the bouquet, including the famous rancio, oxidative notes, found in Grande Champagne cognacs distilled over lees and aged for several decades.
