While other wines celebrate doing the same thing for centuries, Cooper and Thief celebrates doing things differently. Cooper and Thief's barrel-aged red wine challenges tradition, which makes for a much more interesting story. Crafted in the Napa Valley appellation, Cooper and Thief Rye Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon red wine is aged for six months in bourbon whiskey barrels, which gives way to warm, dark fruit aromas, and a lush mouthfeel. Supple tannins touched by hints of toasted rye spice, leaves complexity on the palate and finishes with a smooth structure reminiscent of a fine rye whiskey. Varietal: 80% cabernet sauvignon, 14% merlot, 4% cabernet franc, 2% petit verdot.
