Chateau Suduiraut 2009 Sauternes is deep light gold with profound, clearly-defined nose blending honey and white flesh acacia fruit. Highly seductive, imposing palate, full, closely-integrated, powerful. Wonderful balance and persistency.
93% Semillon and 7% Sauvignon Blanc | Alc: 14% – Sweet, Rich and Creamy
As fine as the de Cosse Sauterne is, the Suduiraut takes it to the next level. I’ve been drinking this Sauterne for many years, and this is probably the best I’ve had from Suduiraut. The critics declare it a powerhouse that should last a good 40 or 50 years (if you can hold out!) – a riveting bouquet of quince, pineapple, mango and honey, it consummates your relationship with it by exploding in your mouth in a shower of decadent sweetness wrought with ripe citrus, papaya, quince, and that gorgeous botrytis. 97 Pts – Wine Spectator
