HOW: Using a high single malt content in the blend, as well as choice casks from his connections at Morrison-Bowmore, the Bank Note uses whiskies of a much older maturity and richer character as its base. Batched in small amounts, there are few producers this day taking this much care with blended Scotch.

WHAT: Originally established in 1810 by James Sword & Co, Bank Note was a blended whisky of merit from the heyday of Scotland’s distillation past, admired for its commitment to quality and well-regarded in its time. Today, having been resurrected by the Morrison family, former stewards of Bowmore distillery on Islay, the label once again represents a commitment to excellence, combining the know-how of Scotch industry legend Stan Morrison with family connections in the business that date back almost a century.
